My Story
Kantara was founded on a simple belief: parents grow stronger with the right support — and children thrive when their parents do.
That belief didn't come from a boardroom. It came from a 3am note I typed with one hand while nursing my daughter with the other.
My daughter was born during COVID lockdown. I'd sit there nursing, scrolling through Instagram mums who seemed to have it all figured out, wondering why I couldn't stop crying. I'd spend hours googling "is this normal?" and finding either clinical jargon or judgmental forums. Nobody calm. Nobody kind. Nobody there.
One night, at my lowest, I typed a note on my phone: What if there was someone to talk to at this hour? Someone who wouldn't judge, who actually knew things, who could help me trust myself?
I didn't build it then. I was too busy surviving.
But the idea stayed. And eventually, the fog lifted — and I remembered what I was capable of.
So I built Simone.
I'm Stella — a mother and solo founder, building the parenting guide I wish I'd had.
Simone lives in WhatsApp because that's where you already are at 3am. She gives you calm, evidence-based guidance tailored to your child — not a search bar full of worst-case scenarios. She remembers your conversations so you never start from scratch. And she doesn't judge, ever — because I remember what it felt like to be judged when I was barely holding on.
I'm not trying to replace your doctor, your mum, or your village. I'm building something for the thousand moments in between — the ones where you just need someone steady to say "here's what I'd try" or "yes, that's normal" or "you're doing better than you think."
Because the hardest part of parenting isn't the sleepless nights. It's feeling like you have to figure it all out alone.
You don't. That's why Kantara exists.

My mission
Support the parent, and you reach the child.
I believe the most powerful thing you can do for a child is take care of the person raising them. Parenting is isolating and overwhelming, and far too many parents carry it alone — not because help doesn't exist, but because it's never there at the right moment, in the right tone, without judgment.
So my mission is simple: build technology that meets parents in those moments — that helps them feel heard, find their footing, and trust themselves again. Because when a parent feels supported, they show up differently for their kids. That's the whole point. Strengthen the parent, and a child grows up with a steadier one.
What I believe
Parents grow stronger with support — not pressure.
You don't need fixing. You need a steady hand and a moment of clarity, and then you've got this. Everything I build starts from respect for the parent you already are.
Calm is a feature, not a tone.
So much parenting advice profits from your anxiety. I refuse to. Simone answers worries without feeding them, so you can act instead of spiral.
No one should feel invisible.
I know what it's like to drown while everyone assumes you're fine. Simone is built to see you — the whole you, underneath the logistics — and to stay.
No judgment, ever.
There are no silly questions here and no wrong feelings. Real support is for real parents on real nights — not some ideal version that was never possible anyway.
